I live in Houston, TX with my amazing (insert infinite more nice adjectives here) husband. We live in a blue house built in 1940. Barley is our great dane puppy whom we adore. I’m a CPA by day, pursuing my curiosities in my free time.

I wanted to create a space where I could share more about Dan and my’s newlywed life in Houston as we take on DIY’s, cook up new recipes, try new restaurants, travel, and love on Barley. Very intimidated by blogs (and words in general), but wanting to try something new and different. I’m also realizing I have a terrible memory and hope this will help me to remember all the wonderful, happy things going on in our lives.
